There are all sorts of ways you can give your support to TREE AID, and help people living in extreme poverty in the drylands of Africa to transform their lives. Here’s how the wonderful students and staff at The Henley College in Oxfordshire raised an amazing £300 for TREE AID from their annual Library charity appeal.
Every Autumn term, the Library team decides which charity it will support. One of my colleagues happened upon a TREE AID leaflet and suggested you! The work of the charity sounded fantastic and was certainly different from anything we had collected for in the past, so we went for it! We asked staff and students to collect £10 for a tree. A certificate was awarded to each group or individual that donated enough, and a tree added to our appeal noticeboard
