TREE AID helps people in the drylands of Africa to lift themselves out of poverty and protect their environment.
People here live in some of the toughest conditions on earth and trees are essential to their survival. Trees provide nutrition, generate income and help to create a healthy environment.
TREE AID works with local communities to help them protect and grow trees, for themselves and for future generations.
So far TREE AID supporters have helped over half a million people to grow their way out of poverty. However you choose to give, your support will grow hope for people living in extreme poverty.
Why not join in one of our TREE AID events? Or fundraise for us at work? A little imagination can plant a lot of trees! Take a look at our ideas, from karaoke to cocktails, sweepstakes to swear boxes.
Trees help lift people out of extreme poverty and hunger. They provide produce like fruits, nuts and honey, shea butter and mangoes which villagers grow to eat and to sell, paying for their children’s healthcare and education. Trees can survive drought even when other crops fail.
