‘You can make a lot of speeches, but the real thing is when you dig a hole, plant a tree, give it water, and make it survive" Wangari Maathai

Volunteering

As a small charity it is vital that we keep our overhead costs to a minimum, so that as much money as possible goes to help some of the most threatened people on earth to become self-sufficient and thrive, not just survive. This means that offers of time are every bit as important as gifts of money.

TREE AID would not exist if it were not for the fantastic contribution that volunteers have made and continue to make to its development and we place great value on volunteers and work placements.

Volunteers spread the word and raise money for us too. If you like public speaking join our Speaker's Network. If sport is your thing then try a sponsored event or if you want to learn new skills and fundraise in a group take on the Grand for Trees challenge.

PLEASE NOTE that we DO NOT offer volunteering opportunities in Africa.

We currently have two exciting volunteer opportunities in Bristol.

To apply for either role please fill in the application form and email to rebecca.miller@treeaid.org.uk
