Tree Aid will once more be centre stage at the South West's biggest, greenest, most exciting, family-friendly celebration of big carving and tree craft held at Westonbirt Arboretum from 23rd to 30th of August.
Chainsaws roaring 12 sculptors transform massive fallen trees into breathtaking works of garden art, sold in a nail-biting fundraising auction on Bank Holiday Monday 30th August. Be part of the action: volunteer with the Tree Aid festival team, or make a bid at the Sculpture Auction. Find out more about this year's sculpture designs here www.sculptree.org

Trees for Change
Tree Aid's work is all about empowering people living in Africa's rural dry-lands to learn sustainable ways of using trees so families can step out of poverty and towards self reliance and a healthy environment. Our Trees for Change project in Mali is teaching villagers how to sustainably manage their forest to acheive food security by improving local biodiversity.
This film was made with local people involved in Trees for Change (from Horé, Guendé and Endé villages) to give practical advice on "how to do" farmer-managed natural regeneration. We use the film in sub-Saharan Africa to show villagers how the new techniques Tree Aid teaches will benefit themselves and their communities now, into the future.
