Leave a legacyThanks to our supporters TREE AID continues to deliver long term solutions to poverty in the drylands of Africa. The majority of our income comes from individuals who believe passionately in lifting the poorest people on this planet out of poverty, while improving the environment.
By leaving a gift in your Will to TREE AID you can leave a lasting legacy of hope to some of the poorest people in the world. Legacies are special gifts. However big or small your gift is you can be sure that it will mean a huge amount to the communities that we work with.
Tribute to a supporter
“The two most important things in life are to love – and to plant trees.” Father Anthony Storey, 1919 – 2007.
Father Anthony Storey was an avid tree fan and dedicated supporter of TREE AID.
Over the years Father Storey’s support of TREE AID has enabled some of the world’s poorest people to overcome poverty through the use of trees. Now, his generous legacy gift has enabled us to continue our work in Burkina Faso helping villagers with trade and enterprise in Mali and Ghana.
TREE AID would like to pay tribute to Father Storey’s ongoing support and his belief in our mission.
How to leave a legacy to TREE AID If you would like to include TREE AID in your Will we advise that you visit your solicitor. If you do not have a solicitor you can find one by searching the Law Society database.
Alternatively, TREE AID has registered with www.totallyFREEwills.co.uk a website that can help you make a basic Will free of charge. The service is free for basic wills. The website requests that you answer a few questions first to determine whether you need a basic will or whether your situation is more complex and and may require specific advice from a solicitor.
