Tamale, Ghana 

We wish to appoint a Country Programme Manager (Ghana) to oversee and coordinate all TREE AID programmes and activities in Ghana.

This is a great opportunity to bring transformational change to some of the world’s poorest people. TREE AID works in the drylands of Africa, using agroforestry to relieve poverty and protect the environment. We are unique in what we do and have great potential and ambition to grow. The Country Programme Manager’s key objectives will be to:

  • Ensure strong implementation of programming across the entire Ghana programme portfolio, monitoring progress regularly and ensure learning of programme progress is incorporated into future project design.
  • In coordination with other TREE AID West Africa and with TREE AID UK teams, develop new programme designs and proposals
  • Represent TREE AID in Ghana with all key stakeholders including TREE AID Ghana Board, government, partners and donors
  • Manage TREE AID Ghana team

You will have a background in rural development with proven experience in management of programmes, partner organisations and staff.

With excellent skills in management, monitoring, programme design and the ability to present and report information accurately and intelligibly, you will take the initiative and work well as part of a team.

FInance manager

Finance Manager (Group Finance)

Location: Bristol, 35 hours pw

Salary: up to £32k pa + Benefits + Pension

Are you a multi-skilled and experienced charity sector finance professional with the ability to lead? We are now looking for an individual with flair and a commercial approach who can help us build on our success to date. Working with our teams in the UK and Africa, you will help us expand our resources, whilst ensuring that we have the financial, human and physical systems and resources that are needed to achieve its strategic objectives. You will be critical in helping us to maintain the high quality of our work, ensuring that it has lasting impact in the countries where we operate.

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for the Group’s consolidated accounting, budgeting and forecasting reporting, providing effective decision support to the Senior Management Team and have the opportunity to greatly enhance your knowledge and experience in international development.
